We started our morning by hearing the sirens wailing down the street, so we loaded up and went to check out what all the hullabaloo was about.
They were doing a big breakfast at the fire station, but since we didn't buy tickets previously, and we didn't want to stand in the line, we just walked around and looked at all the trucks instead.
They had this old fire truck for show that the kids could climb around on and pretend to drive. It was so cute and the girls loved it.
We climbed through the ambulance and the fire truck, and Norah and Lucy both made sure to wear their seat belts. haha
We stopped to buy hot dogs for our memorial lunch haha then tooks naps and relaxed before going to the cemetery to visit my grandparents.
My parents and Dallin met us there as well.
It was SO hot at the cemetery, and the girls were anxious to get home because we had promised them popsicles and swimming--the first time of the year!
Norah was gloating about still having her popsicle here and Lucy was sad she was already finished with hers. Lucy snuck a bite from poor little Jane when I wasn't looking haha.
We pulled out our blow-up pool and put it under the slide so the girls could slip right into the water. They were shrieking with laughter and couldn't get enough.
Lucy thought it was SO funny when Norah would slide down and bump into her like this.
Norah kept telling Lucy she would catch her at the bottom. It was so cute to watch.
Hahah Lucy's face is too good. She burst into laughter every single time.
I didn't even bother to change Jane. She was quite content watering the grass with the hose.
It was such a fun day and I'm glad I got to spend it with my sweet family.
