When I was in high school, the young women in my ward decided to have an ongoing activity where we each chose a lady in the neighborhood to be our “secret grandmother”. I chose May Motsinger and so she sort of became my adopted grandma ever since; she even stepped in as my grandma during my wedding when my own grandma couldn't be there.
This past week was her birthday so I took her out to lunch with Brooklyn and my mom.
I love getting to see May and I'm so glad Norah and Lucy have another grandma to love on them:)
She may be 86 now, but she is the peppiest 86 year-old I've ever met. I'm so glad I snagged her up before any of the other young women could get to her.
I love you, May! Happy Birthday:))
